What is NATA?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture NATA ENTRANCE EXAM is a National level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Architecture i.e. (B.Arch).

The Council of Architecture (COA) conducts National Aptitude Test in Architecture ( NATA ) entrance exam to measure the aptitude of the applicant for admission to First year of five year B.Arch Degree at all recognized institutions all over India. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time

NATA Eligibility

Candidates fulfilling the below criteria prescribed by the Council can appear for NATA 2025:

  • Passed or appearing in 10+1 Examination with PCM Subjects;
  • Passed or appearing in 10+2 Examination with PCM subjects:
  • Passed or appearing in 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as subjects:

NOTE: QUALIFYING IN NATA 2024 DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A RIGHT / GUARANTEE IN FAVOUR OF THE CANDIDATE FOR ADMISSION TO ANY ARCHITECTURE COURSE UNLESS THE CANDIDATE HAS FULFILLED ALL THE PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED BY RESPECTIVE COMPETENT AUTHORITIES IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ELIGIBILIY CRITERIA LAID DOWN BY THE COUNCIL

The NATA Test Consists of Two Parts

Part A is on Drawing, which is paper based and Part B comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
